BOB DAISLEY To Take Part In Online Chat

November 30, 2009

Legendary bassist Bob Daisley (OZZY OSBOURNE, RAINBOW, BLACK SABBATH, URIAH HEEP) will take part in a question-and-answer session via a live webcam chat on December 11, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. EST at the RandyRhoads.us web site.

RandyRhoads.us, the only web site endorsed by the Randy Rhoads family, no longer requires a membership fee to access. There is a video from Randy's brother, Kelle, on the homepage welcoming you to the site. Former QUIET RIOT bassist Kelly Garni is the main contributor and shares many pics and memories about Randy. There are many other features on the site as well.

In May 2004, the Supreme Court refused to consider the appeal of Daisley and drummer Lee Kerslake, who sued OZZY OSBOURNE in 1998 seeking royalties for their work on albums "Blizzard of Ozz" and "Diary of a Madman".

Los Angeles attorney Nate Kraut said his musician clients had been denied credit for writing songs that were being used in television commercials and during NFL games.

In 1982, Rhoads, the then-lead guitarist for OZZY OSBOURNE, and two others were killed at Flying Baron Estates, just outside Leesburg, Florida, when their small plane struck Osbourne's tour bus, then crashed into a mansion.
